Arab Female patients are worried about referrals to male specialists:
- According to a study published in the BMJ, women surgeons record lower or less patient complications after an operation process, as compared to their male counterparts. Also, the report stated that women are better surgeons than men. Even worse, in heart surgery, 81% of female surgeons suffered from sexual harrasment.
- One Saudi woman ignored the cancer growing in her breast because she didn't want to risk a referral to a male doctor.
- According to Dr. Al-Amoudi (ob/gyn), who chronicled her struggle with cancer in a local newspaper, recounted the story of a woman whose husband always pulls her away from the mammogram room because the technicians were male. "The first thing women ask me when I tell them to get a mammogram: 'Will the radiologist be male or female?'" she said.
Women's Treatment Risk By Male Specialists:
USA medical boards continue to receive complaints against male plastic surgeons who attempt to molest their female patients. Certainly, this is a problem found worldwide. Accordingly, if an Arab woman seek plastic surgery from a foreign male surgeon and he rapes her, she cannot report this violation to anyone in fear of her life.

Also, the world total Muslim Population in 2009 was 1.66 billion.
